Working at Blackbird

We are currently looking for an experienced, energetic, hard-working Chef to join the kitchen team in our team. You must be a strong, motivated individual who can demonstrate experience working in a professional kitchen. The person will be a skilled team player who is adaptable and is willing to assist in all areas of the kitchen. 

Other skills that will need to be demonstrated include:

•Excellent attention to detail
•Confident, professional personality
•A high standard of food presentation

Your duties include preparing all-day breakfasts and lunches and Afternoon Tea; maintaining appropriate temperature logs; placing orders with suppliers; receiving deliveries; plus other kitchen duties as required. 
You will be part of a team and will be responsible for helping to create memorable dining experiences in this very popular and busy establishment. 
You will be working five days out of seven. Day shifts only. Good rates of pay plus pro rata share of tips. 
The successful candidate may eventually have the opportunity to develop their role in this business as it expands. 
The successful candidate will be able to show a satisfactory amount of experience in a similar position with genuine references that WILL be checked.
