Blackbird Tea Rooms is the culmination of many year’s labour of love by friends Matthew Adams and Hannah Nwogu. Both are passionate about the quality of service and decor that once pervaded all aspects of dining and taking tea – from fine fancy hotels in Mayfair to the humble tea room that could be found on every High Street throughout England. Together they have created Blackbird Tea Rooms, not as an attempt to accurately reproduce an exact facsimile of a pre-war tea room but simply as a comfortable and charming little refuge from the madness of modern life. We offer not just delicious tea, cakes and savoury treats but also a little oasis of peace and calm, where you can slowly enjoy a modicum of affordable luxury in the style you so richly deserve.
